Corporate Adult Foster Care Our Adult Foster Care program offers professional staffing and support services in our privately owned homes located in Ramsey and Anoka County. Our homes serve up to four adults between the ages of 18 and 65, with each person having their own bedroom and spacious living areas. Currently we have 13 licensed homes, with most being handicapped accessible. Each foster home has trained staff available to assist individuals with activities of daily living including; personal cares, medications, meals, transportation and opportunities to participate in their career and community. Staffing ratios at each of the homes is determined by the supervision and support needed by the individuals living there. It is our goal to have everyone participate in household decisions, rules, and meal planning, as we feel that this contributes to a more family-like home environment. Our services are designed to support each individual’s health and safety as well as contribute to ensuring their personal success and happiness.... Behavioral Support Services Striving to help individuals to live independently, we offer Behavioral Support Services to assist individuals in achieving their goals and to reduce actions that may compromise independence. A full assessment is completed by licensed professionals to capitalize on individual strengths. The Behavioral Support Staff work closely with the individual to develop a behavioral plan with measurable objectives and outcomes. Increasing adaptive coping behaviors and reducing those behaviors that hold individuals back from their goals in the community is the focus of this service. (Behavioral Services also includes Family Training and Counseling.) Through this service, we support and train the individuals’ caretakers and/or family members in the different components of the treatment plan. This may include boundary issues, communication, conflict management, and problem solving. Independent Living Skills Services In order to assist individuals with achieving the most independent living situation, we provide Independent Living Skills (ILS) staff to educate and support individuals in daily living abilities.
